to take a leap of faith. We envision our students gaining a clear understanding of their roles as healthcare professionals. Our objective is to educate our community and the surrounding areas to become proficient healthcare providers.
The clinical classroom in Mount Dora, Florida, is equipped with supplies to practice
clinical skills for the Florida CNA exam. The instructors are Registered Nurses (RNs) licensed by
the Florida Board of Nursing and certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) to provide
BLS/CPR training. The instructors have over 20 years of experience in healthcare.


Florida CNA Exam Preparation
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training is a 40-hour course over 3 days,
combining in-person and online study. It prepares students for Florida’s CNA exam
administered by Prometric. The training includes self-paced written materials, audio, Q&A, and
in-person review of 22 clinical skills in our clinical classroom, plus a mock exam review.
To enroll in the Florida CNA Exam Prep program, applicants are required to submit a
completed application form and remit a non-refundable deposit of $100* to secure their
position. The training fee amounts to $500 (deposit will be applied to balance), encompassing
the following components:

  • Three days of practical, in-person skill training covering 22 skills.
  • Access to online instructional videos demonstrating skills.
  • Interactive online lectures featuring audio narration of written content and
    assessment questions via Microsoft power point.
  • Guidance with the registration process of level 2 background through live scan and
    CNA exam through prometric.
  • Participation in a mock review, with submission of the Authorization to Test within
    two weeks of training completion.
  • Availability of instructor support via chat during designated business hours.

  • $45 BLS/CPR training
  • $250 Mock Review (non-students from Learn To Care Prep)

    CPR/ BLS
    Our BLS/CPR training is American Heart Association approved and is suitable for
    healthcare workers, educators, daycare staff, friends, and family. We can conduct training in
    our clinical classroom or at a location you choose. The duration of the training varies from 2 to
    4 hours, depending on the course and class size and ecards are administered within 24 hours of
    completion of the course.
    CPR/BLS Train the Trainer CPR/BLS
    As an AHA Instructor you will be authorized to teach others BLS/CPR. Prior to training
    you will need to provide your CPR/BLS card. During training we will review the steps on
    conducting a CPR class and how to issue students ecards. In addition, you will need to
    demonstrate competency of conducting a training.

  • $45- LTC student fee (must take within 30 days of completion of CNA Exam Prep)
  • $45- BLS group rate (9 or more participants)
  • $50- HS CPR/AED group rate (9 or more participants)
  • $50- individual BLS
  • $55- individual heart saver training
  • $450- instructor BLS/CPR
